The resolution, adopted without a recorded vote, asks the President to reduce imports of residual fuel oil, a burnable substance which can be used in place of coal for industrial purposes. The plea to the President was sponsored by Sens. Edmund Sar-gus, D-Belmont, and Robert Zel-lar, R-Muskingum, both of whom represent coal-producing areas.
