She was born in Seymour on January 14, 1942, to the late Robert and Edith (Noblitt) Barlow. Rita married Aden Jones Jr. in December 1961, and they spent 59 wonderful years together until his passing in 2020. After she graduated from Seymour High School, Rita worked at Rose Acre Farms for ten years. Together, she and Aden enjoyed boating and camping at Rough River, Kentucky, and were members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Seymour. Rita attended Cornerstone Community Church.
