OVERVIEW
Super clean vehicle that we have taken immaculate care of during our time owning this vehicle. Beautiful Anvil Blue color has a cult following in the Mopar community, holding its value exceptionally well (which is part of the reason we bought it). While we owned this vehicle, we babied it, keeping it up on maintenance and wash/wax and detailing. We had it steam-cleaned right after we purchased it and did the same thing a few weeks ago in preparation for sale. The vehicle was clean enough and with low enough mileage that we considered posting on BAT.
Purchased in 2021 as a certified pre-owned vehicle, the VIN lists it as a “Sport” model but either the dealer or the original purchaser custom built this particular vehicle as a “Latitude” and added a few features of the “Limited.” This was more than likely to avoid paying the property taxes and insurance on the higher end model but to still have the luxuries of one. The same thing that was done in the early 90s ordering the LX package Mustang with the 5.0 engine and getting all the benefits of the GT without the insurance and taxes :)
This vehicle has been such a great little car for us. Tires, brakes, belts, all still in good condition. The only thing we wanted to do before sale was have the thermostat changed out, which is a known issue for Jeeps around the 100k mile mark. The upgraded 2.4 engine punches way above its class (180hp) while maintaining superb gas mileage (22 city, 31 hw). We love this little Jeep and probably would not be letting it go if we hadn’t had our eyes on the Rav4 Hybrid we ended up buying earlier this year.

PRICE and PAYMENT
We arrived at the $14.2k asking price based on the factors below. Because of that, and the care we’ve put into this vehicle, there is going to be very little room for negotiation. I’m happy to respond to questions about the vehicle, we only ask that inquiries be kept serious and coincide with offers. Additionally, we recognize that KBB, Black Book, etc. have this vehicle listed for lower than what we’re asking, but consistent with the comps that have been taken care of in a similar manner.
Those factors are the following:
-price of comps currently available within 500 miles
-how well this model and this particular paint color retain their value
-the custom build of this vehicle, making it a rarer find
-the meticulous care we put into maintaining this vehicle
The vehicle is also listed on AutoTrader where the payment will be submitted for verification. At the hand-off, we can write you a simple bill of sale as well for driving the vehicle home but would suggest bringing your own plate if you have one. If you do not, we have a spare plate border and some cardboard you can have to write “new purchase.” This goes without saying but you will want to call your insurance company and have the car ready to be added on for the drive home.
